New Duck Life

The ducks have a new way on what they do everyday.It all started when a hawk killed Smart.Now the ducks never come out of their cage except when someone makes them.They never even swim anymore except when someone scare them or make them.Once when my sister chased the ducks out of the cage and when she leaves they go back in and it goes over and over and over.What poor ducks they are.

Pheasant Meets My Ducks

On November 6th a Pheasant flew into my backyard.The Pheasant was very beautiful,it has a red head,green neck,brown body,and a very long tail.The Pheasant was a boy because it was colorful.He saw some duck food and dried apples.The was very hungry so the Pheasant ate the food while my ducks swim.When the Pheasant was done eating he waited for the ducks to go on land.The Pheasant was very inpatient so he flapped his wings and chirped as loud as he can.Finally the ducks jumped out of the water but they ignored the Pheasant.The Pheasant was sad.But then the Pheasant saw Chibi walk to him.But the Pheasant thought Chibi was going to attack him.Sothe Pheasant flew away.      

  

Wild Ducks!

The ducks are very big now!They almost as big grown up ducks.The ducks are afraid of umbrellas.When my sister went outside in the rain with a umbrella to feed the ducks, the ducks saw the umbrella and they started quacking and running.They were out of control.Yesterday my sister grabbed Smart and calmed her down so I can pet her.When I touched her neck,it was shacking.She was scared!When I walked away but my sister was still there she was,t scared.Smart liked Cherry better then me.What wild ducks!

Big awesome ducks!

The ducks are very quack a lot (especially Smart.)The ducks can dive under water and swim for a long time then they come back up in another place in water.The ducks love to swim.Today Tigrerra rode on Smart and held on Smarts neck.Do you think the ducks are doing great?

The ducks are very big. Tiggera can fly over my mother's head. All of the ducks can fly but the male ducks fly even better. The only duck who can't fly yet is Smart!Now that the ducks are very big they eat a lot too. Plus the ducks can eat super fast and speedy. I love my ducks so much!

The Ducklings

The ducklings are sometimes not smart because they only eat food that are on the pink bowl not on the ground except for smart Sunny. A thing that the ducklings are smart is when people don't move, they know that you are not going to hurt them. Right now the ducklings do not let you pet them except Smart but the only way to make Smart pet you is to have black hair, black shirt (if you really want to wear another shirt, wear it inside the black shirt), wear black shoes, black socks and black pants. After you wear those black stuffs you sit on the grass and Smart waddles to you and if he bend his head you can pet him. If he doesn't, you can not. But if no one is around mostly you can pet him.

The Ducklings

The ducklings bellies are very fat because they eat a lot and they eat a lot because they are big ducklings and big ducklings eat a lot.The ducklings Quack a lot except sunny when danger comes or when someone tries to pick him up.They run really fast but they only run as fast as they can if you chase them.On the first day of August Smart and his duck friends were walking and Smart met a frog.Smart looked at the frog and swallowed it alive.

The Ducklings flap there giant wings in the morning to stretch and (sometimes they even fly for 2 seconds.)The Ducklings are vary picky.They just eat grass or plants that my father planted.Today my Ducklings saw a Beaver.Sunny,Smart and tigrerra ran away but Chibi looked at the Beaver and the looked at him.Then Chibi ran to the Beaver and bit the Beaver.The Beaver was so scared and ran away.Do you think Chibi is so strong?

The Ducklings' New Home

My dad moved the ducklings cage next to the garden.So now the ducklings can run around and swim in the brook(without carrying them.)The ducklings are very big.I think they are 24 or 25 inches from beak to tail and weigh 3 pounds.When the ducklings are going to eat they get so excited that they eat so fast that the food goes on top of there heads.Are the ducklings so silly?

My family went on a trip to Florida.But what about our ducklings.Well we asked one of our neighbors if they could take care of our ducklings.But they said they could only take care of the ducklings for five days and we are going to stay in Florida for a week. So we asked another neighbor too take care of our ducklings for two days and they said they could.But the ducklings did not run freely and swim. So probable the ducklings eat, drink, and sleep. What a boring week they had.

All these days , my dad, my sister and I took the ducklings walking in the backyard.We also took the ducklings swimming in the 5 feet and a few inches deep water. We took them walking in a muddy place to find worms to eat.The ducklings wings are so big that they were as big as grown up ducks wings. Are they having so much fun?

Sunny: 2 pounds 4 ounces (weight) 19 inches & a half (long)
Chibi: 2 pounds 12 ounces(weight) 20 inches(long)
Tigrerra: 2 pounds (weight) 17 inches(long)

Today, my daddy, my sister and I measured the length and weight of each duckling. Guess, how heavy they are?

Ducklings are enjoying sunshine after taking a swimming, in the corner of the garden.

Awesome Ducklings!

Yesterday me and my sister took the ducklings swimming again but this time we took all four in the small swimming pool.When I put one duckling in the pool in the pool he jumps out of the pool and starts quacking. When all four was in the pool they stopped quacking. When it was time for the ducklings to go back of the cage,I put Sunny in the cage first. The other ducklings jumped out of the green pool and rushed in the garden to the cage to rescue Sunny. I tried to catch the three fluffy animals but they were super fast. It took pretty long to catch the ducklings. But I did it. I put all of them back into the duckling cage. It was a very wild day!

The Ducklings

The ducklings are molting.Molting is when the ducklings drop there baby feathers and grow grown up feathers.The ducklings are shake there heads or peck on its body expect Sunny.It looks like some ducklings are finding there oil gland!My dad put two ducklings at a time in a small pool with water to see if they could swim.First the ducklings tried to get out of the the pool but then the ducklings liked the water and dived and flapped there wings(that made big splashing that made me wet.) This must be the ducklings lucky day!

Observations:
The ducklings' wings had grown bigger than yesterday. Their beaks grew darker than the time when they were born. They are bigger too.
The red house with cage was made by my daddy. The ducklings like their new home. They ate quite some food and vegetable and had sound sleep in the basement.
